Bill Isenberg

Bill Isenberg was born on September 30, 1944 in Coleman, Oklahoma to C.W. and Kate Horner Isenberg and passed from this life on August 19, 2016 surrounded by his family at home at the age of 71. Bill attended and graduated from Coleman Public School and later moved to Denver City, Texas and worked in the oil field retiring as a production supervisor. Bill married Ruby Cash on June 23, 1991 and they have been blessed with 25 years of marriage. They moved to Durant in 2006 from Denver City to be closer to family and enjoy retirement. Bill was a dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church and deeply loved his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed playing golf, working with cows and fishing. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bill is preceded in death by is parents, C.W. and Kate Isenberg and daughter, Sheila Ellis. Loved ones left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ruby of the home; children, Mark Isenberg and wife Cheryl of Ada, OK, Jerry Waltrip and wife Debbie of Greenwood, TX and daughter, Sheryl Lovejoy and husband Russ of Gatesville, TX; brothers, Carlton Isenberg and wife Kathy of Wellington, TX, Jerry Isenberg and wife Mary of Milburn, OK, Arnold Isenberg of Milburn, OK, Tommy Isenberg of Tishomingo, OK, Eddie Isenberg and wife Sheila of Milburn, OK and David Isenberg and wife Tammy of Milburn, OK; sister, Patsy Adams and husband Danny of Milburn, OK; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and dear friends. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church in Durant. Pastor Anthony Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Condon Grove Cemetery with Derek Ellis, Bradley Ellis, Richard Boyer, Josh Turner, Kyle Lovejoy and Ryan Ellis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Carter, Mark Blankenship, Martin Willingham, Newman Thomas, Robert Boehme, Gary Copus and James Beard. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
