Bobby Lynn Monroe

Bobby Lynn Monroe, 68, of Enos, OK went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Denison, TX surrounded by his family. Bobby was born on June 17, 1948 in Enos, OK to Drew Norman and Juanita Louise (Goff) Monroe. Bobby grew up in Enos, OK and attended school in Kingston. He married the love of his life, Brenda J. Burkham on October 8, 1966 in Cordell, OK, and they had 50 wonderful years together. Bobby was a member and trustee of Enos Baptist Church, a truck driver and Teamster organizer. He was also involved in Teamsters, Enos Community Center and Enos Fire Department. Bobby received the Red Cross Labor Participation Citation for Service award. He loved camping, fishing, family and friends. Bobby is preceded in death by his father Drew (Pete) Monroe, mother Juanita (Goff) Monroe, son Bradley Scott Monroe, brothers Ruel Lewis Monroe and Merle Gene Monroe, and sister Marla Fayne Jackson. Bobby is survived by his wife of the home, Brenda Monroe of Enos, OK, daughter Tambra Monroe of Madill, OK, grandchildren; Shane Higgins and wife Katie of Enos, OK, Heather Shepard and husband Jack III of Madill, OK, and Tim Higgins of Enos, OK, great grandchildren; Bryson, Dillion, William, and Noah Higgins all of Enos, OK and Logan, Tommy, and Thaidious Shepard all of Madill, OK, sisters; Callie Lanoy and husband Larry of Davis, OK, Elizabeth Gray and husband Donald of Del City, OK, Patricia Parsons and husband Jimmy of Enos, OK, Janet Eaton and husband Lee of Shay, OK, Sandra Mullins and husband Steve of Enos, OK, Marilyn Monroe of Enos, OK, Renita Wilson and husband Chris of Enos, OK, brother Gerald Monroe and wife Guinda of Enos, OK, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10:00am at the KMAC building (New Gym) at Kingston Schools. Bro. Bill Robinson will be officiating the service with interment at Lark Cemetery in Enos, OK. Family Hour will be Friday, December 30, 2016 from 6-8:00 pm at Brown’s Funeral Service in Madill, OK. Pallbearers will be Steven Lee Mullins, Clayton Foutch, Chris Stevens, Stan Arnold, Danny Dutton, and Kyle Beene.
