Bobby Lee Thomas

Bobby Lee Thomas, aged 86, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family who loved him most. His life was a beautiful reflection of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and boundless love. To know Bobby was to know true kindness and humility. He lived not for himself, but for those he loved- his heart was always open, his hands always willing to help. Though a grandfather by title, Bobby was a father in every way to too many of his grandchildren, guiding them with gentle discipline, steady support, and a love that never wavered. He was the rock of his family- strong, patient, and selfless- a man who led not with words, but by the steadfast example of his life. A proud veteran, Bobby served his country with honor and continued throughout his life to live with the same values of duty, courage, and humility. After his service, he worked tirelessly and retired from Pillsbury after 35 years of dedication and hard work. In his quiet moments, Bobby found joy in life’s simple pleasures, crossword puzzles, solitaire, tending his yard, watching the races, and spending time at the family cabin, where laughter and love filled the air. Those were his happiest days- surrounded by the people he loved, making memories that will be cherished for generations. Bobby was the kind of man who made everyone around him feel safe, seen, and loved. His heart was steady, his words gentle, and his presence comforting. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his love will forever guide our steps. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever honored by all whose lives he touched. “Until we meet again, we’ll carry your love in our hearts, your wisdom in our minds, and your spirit in everything we do. Your legacy lives on in all of us, Pa.” Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; George and Shirley, daughter; Anna Maria, grandsons; Rodney Lee and Michael Todd, sisters; Ellen and Jan, and brother; Donald. Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Bobbie Dean Thomas and their six children: Kenny Lee and his children Rodney, Morgan, and Kaylee, Stacey Wayne and his children Dana, Nickie, Emilee, and Ashley, Nikki Bob and his children Jessica and Timothy, Ricky Dean and his children Little Rick and Kambree, Charles and his two children, and Anna Maria and her children Michael Todd, Joshua Lee, Bobby Lee, and Whitney. He is also survived by two grandsons who were far more than that- they were like sons to him, Joshua Lee and Bobby Lee. In total, Bobby leaves behind a legacy of 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, each carrying forward his love, his lessons, and his spirit.
