Cathaline "Bobbi" Hutchings

Cathaline “Bobbi” Hutchings, age 85, of Calera, Oklahoma passed away on June 29, 2025, in Denison, Texas. Bobbi was born on October 21, 1939, in Yuba, Oklahoma to parents, Frank and Viney (Lawson) Grider. Bobbi married Everett Joe Don Hutchings on May 25, 1957, in Durant and they were united in marriage for sixty plus years until Joe’s passing on December 5, 2017. She was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Durant and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed working with plants and flowers in her yard, growing a big garden every year, and canning. She taught Sunday School and enjoyed leading worship service and putting the Christmas Tree together every year at the church. Bobbi deeply loved her family especially her grandbabies, rocking them to sleep while she sang “Grandma’s Pretty Baby”. Bobbi is preceded in death by her husband Joe Hutchings; parents Frank and Viney Grider; daughter Addie Elizabeth Hutchings; son Chris Hutchings; and son-in-law Eddie James Robinson. Bobbi is survived by her daughter Kathy Robinson of Calera, OK; sons Donny Hutchings and wife Tammy of Colbert, OK, Jerry Hutchings and wife Elizabeth of Bokchito, OK and Kevin Mitchell and wife April of Hendrix, OK; grandchildren Casey Davidson and husband Chris, Joe Robinson and wife Tayla, Whitney Castor and husband Adrian, Amber Boney and husband Daniel, Jesse Hutchings and wife Tyra, Jaydan Hutchings, Jazlynn Hutchings, Dallas Hutchings, Denver Hutchings, Shana Howard and husband Randy, and Zola Williams; 18 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. A Funeral Service to honor the life of Bobbi will be held Monday, July 7, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church. Pastors Anthony Williams and Marty Hutchings will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Kevin Mitchell, Brad Davis, Jesse Hutchings, Cutter Davidson, Axell Castor, Dallas Hutchings, Colt Davidson, and Easton Boney serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Robinson, Chase Robinson, Denver Hutchings, Trevor Boney, Preston Boney, Harrison Boney, and Everett Thomas.
