David Joe Blanton Fogg age 70 of Durant, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, in Durant. David was born on May 12, 1953 and adopted by Joe B. and Louise (Howell) Fogg. After graduating from Corsicana high school, David proudly served his country in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1976. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff and later was a truck driver until his retirement. David married Kathy Jo Lahman on May 16, 1998, in Caney, Oklahoma and they have been truly blessed with 25 plus years together. David was of the Baptist faith, and he enjoyed hunting, doing yard work, and cooking for and spending time with his family. David is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Louise Fogg; granddaughter Brooke Staley and sister Evelyn Grimmett. David is survived by his loving and devoted wife Kathy Fogg of the home; brother Doug Fogg and wife Maryann of Athens, TX; children Donelle Staley of Savoy, TX, Belinda Tarver of Sherman, TX, David Williams and wife Shanna of Bokchito, OK and Robert Williams and wife Kandy of Mead, OK; grandchildren Mason Staley, Caitlin Williams, Walker Williams, Carter Fields and wife Hannah, Bryson Fields and wife Courtney, Tanner Balentine, Luke Balentine, Bo Balentine and Macy Roseboon and husband Jacob; great grandchildren Hadley Fields, Joshua Balentine, Ezekiel Balentine and Kayson, Gavin and Joslyn Roseboon and numerous extended and friends. Funeral services to honor the life of David Joe Blanton Fogg will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 19., 2023 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, OK. Pastor David Lane and Pastor David Howard will officiate. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, OK with Mason Staley, Walker Willliams, Carter Fields, Bryson Fields, Bo Balentine, and Luke Balentine serving as pallbearers.
