Glendon (Glenn) Ray Russey

Glendon (Glenn) Ray Russey Glenn was born on March 13, 1944, in Bennington, Oklahoma to Glen and Pearlene Russey. He passed away peacefully at his home on January 5, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Glenn married the love of his life, Lorilei Kay Russey on January 16, 1981, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Glenn was a truck driver for 40 years and enjoyed working in the transportation industry. He was a Christian man who loved his country and believed in fighting for it. Glenn was an Army veteran who was a recognized Marksman (Rifle), Sharpshooter (Rifle M-14), and received a Dvr Badge with a Bar. Glenn enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and those he called his friends. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; Glen Russey and Pearlene (Garner) Russey; three brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife of the home; Lorilei Kay Russey; son; Glendon (Sonny) Russey of Burleson, TX; daughter; Tonya Procell and spouse Ronnie of Denton, TX; daughter; Shawnta Doss and spouse John of Malvern, AR; daughter; Joanna Sims and spouse Justin of Colbert, OK; sister; Sue Ainsworth of Paris, TX; sister; Barabara Riddle and spouse Rex of Malakoff, TX; sister; Linda Tinker and spouse Wiley of Calera, OK; sister; Nancy Harless of Soper, OK; sister; Mary Riddle and spouse Gary of Kemp, TX; brother; Lewis (Bubber) Russey of Kemp, TX; sister; Donna Rogers and spouse Danny of Corsicana, TX; sister; Pam Anderson of Boswell, OK; sister-in-law; Jeneva Dowdle and spouse David of Denison, TX, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel with Chaplain Mike Moody officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma with David Tinker, Danny Tinker, Brian Harless, Mitchell Riddle, Justin Sims, and Ricky Stanfield serving as pallbearers. Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service.
