Harold “Paps” Fox 1-10-1937 to 3-10-2015 A much loved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Harold Ray Fox, 78, of Kemp, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on March 10, 2015 with his family present in Denison, Texas after bravely fighting cancer. He was born January 10, 1937 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Harold met his wife Margie Turnbull in February 1953 and married August of 29, 1955 where they resided in Kemp, Oklahoma. Harold worked at Reedrill for 40 years as a supervisor among many other titles. He was a member of Kemp Baptist Church where he was involved in many church activities. Paps lived for Sunday lunch and enjoyed cooking for all of his family. The highlight of his life was having family in his home as much as possible, even during holidays, such as Fourth of July. Paps lived his life to the fullest and was a perfect example of true happiness. He showed us all how to love unconditionally, put others first, and showed us how we should live our lives for Christ. Paps was a handy man, hard worker, and knew how to enjoy a good joke. He believed in getting the job done in a timely manner, was efficient, and took pride in his work. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margie Turnbull Fox of Kemp; daughter Sheila Dunegan and husband Jimmy. of Yuba; daughter Sonja Guymon and husband David of Cartwright; daughter Katie Clark and husband Ronnie of Kemp; daughter in law, Robbin Fox; grandsons Aaron Dunegan, Chad Guymon, Jeremy Dunegan and spouse Beth, Codey Dunegan, Corey Dunegan and spouse Jacque, Jared Fox and spouse Haylee; granddaughters Nikki Sneed and spouse Brad, Leslie Henderson and spouse Cheyenne, Shelby Clark, Kaylie Dellinger and spouse Bret; 15 great grandchildren; brother Buford Fox and sister Pat Henson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Vera Young and James Fox, siblings Leon Fox, Leroy Fox, Dorothy Fox, Gene Fox, in-laws Delbert and Ruby Turnbull and son Harold “Bubba” Fox. A family night will be held at Kemp Baptist Church, Kemp, Oklahoma on Thursday March 12, 2015 from 7 pm to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Kemp Baptist Church, Kemp, Oklahoma on Friday March 13, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Kemp Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
