Marilyn Gaylene Faulk

Marilyn Gaylene (Box) Faulk was born on August 4, 1948, in Durant, Oklahoma to Jeff and Cora Dell (Wright) Box. Marilyn entered the Gates of Heaven on June 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Marilyn graduated from Cobb High School and later married William “Bill” Robert Faulk on April 5, 1969. They began their journey together and they were blessed with three children. They were united as one for 43 years until Bill’s passing on September 20, 2012. Marilyn deeply loved children and owned and operated her home daycare until her retirement. She deeply loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Abundant Life Texoma Church. She enjoyed cooking, camping, children and any and all things with her family. Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Faulk; parents Jeff and Cora Dell Box; brother Melvin Box and his wife Nell; father and mother-in-law Donald and Florence Faulk and brother-in-law Jim Faulk. Marilyn is survived by her children Phillip Faulk and wife Keri of Durant, Melanie Faulk-Lehr and husband Richard of Durant, and Kevin Faulk of Durant; grandchildren Kadence, Dakota, Thomas, Kassidy, Lauren, Alex, Makenna, Malachi, Brennon, Jadelyn, Kyle and bonus grandchild Maddisyn Daughtery; great grandchildren Gabriel, Kaden, Harley, Ember, Brooklyn, Jacob, Colten, Kassianna, and Bentley; brother and sister in laws Larry Faulk and wife Pam, Donna Mann and husband Steve, Mark Faulk and wife Cindy, Molly Faulk, and Ray Faulk and wife Carla and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Abundant Life Texoma Church in Durant, OK. Rev Randall Drake will officiate. Marilyn will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Bill in Highland Cemetery with grandsons Dakota, Alex, Malachi, Brennon, and Kyle and her favorite son in law Richard Lehr serving as pallbearers.
