Neva Ann Morrow

Neva Ann Karbs Morrow was born on October 14, 1941 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Harry Edward and Lois Fedora (Springer) Karbs. After a brave battle with cancer, she entered her Heavenly Home on April 25, 2016 while in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 74. Neva graduated from Okeene High School and worked as a victim’s rights advocate for the county and state. She married Fred Morrow on July 4, 2012, and together, they made their home in Kingston, OK. Neva considered herself blessed to have finally found her soulmate. Neva was a faithful member of Mead Baptist Church where she enjoyed her church family, attending Sunday school, and serving others. Neva also enjoyed decorating her home, gardening and traveling. But, her greatest joy came from being a wife, mother and grandmother. Neva was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lois Karbs, her brother, Larry (Tiny) Karbs, her nephew, Chris Karbs, and her niece, Charity Karbs Edwards. Loved ones left behind to cherish her sweet memory are her husband, Fred Morrow of the home; sons, Marc Wilcher (Alonzo) of Henderson, NV, Terry Wilcher (Staci) of Marlow, OK and Matt Wilcher (Shirl) of Ada, OK; brothers, Alan Karbs (Debbie) of Edmond, OK, Ron Karbs (Sue) of Okeene, OK and Harlen Karbs (Donna) of Lantana, TX; step daughters, Kristi Wilkerson (Bobby) of Mansfield, TX and Amy Heath of Flower Mound, TX; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. A celebration of Neva’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Mead Baptist Church with Pastor Kerry Groce officiating. Interment will be at the Hydro Masonic Cemetery in Hydro, OK at 3:30 PM. Pallbearers will be John Karbs, Randy Karbs, Wade Karbs, Chad Karbs, Chase Wilcher, Joshua Wilkerson, Daniel Wilkerson, and Jack Heath. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mead Baptist Church in Neva’s honor.
