Randy Sloan Hamilton

Randy Sloan Hamilton passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Mead, Oklahoma at the age of 64. Randy was born on August 19, 1952 in Snyder, Oklahoma to Joseph and Peggy June (Marsh) Hamilton. Randy married his true love, Kimberly Maxwell on Feb, 27, 2016. Randy attended school in Snyder and Altus Junior College. He moved to Bryan County in 1978. He worked as a certified diesel mechanic for John Deere for many years. For the last 19 years, he has worked for the Choctaw Nation where he drove buses for numerous years and was currently the Transportation Compliance Specialist for the Choctaw Casino. Randy was a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders and the SSMC. He loved riding his Harley and taking care of transportation for the Choctaw Seniors the last few years. He enjoyed watching his son Trevor play high school football. He dearly loved his grandbabies and helping others. In his younger years he participated in competitive archery where he won numerous awards and was sponsored by Browning. He loved to fish, hunt and camp in the Kiamichi Wilderness with his dad, Daryl and Hank. He also had special training for vehicle inspection and log auditing from D.O.T. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Joe Hamilton; sister, Tannah Abernathy; nephew, Austin Falen; cousin, Daryl Hamilton and great nephew, Kannon Corley. Loved ones left behind to cherish Randy’s memory are his loving wife, Kimberly Maxwell Hamilton; mother, Peggy Hamilton; son, Trevor Hamilton and wife Angela; daughters, Jodi Hamilton-Watkins and Jennifer Horton; step sons, Michael Maxwell and Matt Maxwell; sisters, Terry Falen and husband Ray and DeeAnn Ballew and husband Dan; 4 grandchildren and one on the way; 4 nieces; 1 great niece; 3 great nephews and numerous extended family and faithful friends. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Roger Speers and Bro. Don Hyde will officiate.
