Ronda Michell Watkins

Ronda Michell Watkins (Walker), age 55, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Plano, Texas. Ronda was born on Saturday, October 17, 1970, in Atoka, Oklahoma. She made her home in Caddo, Oklahoma, where she was known for her strong faith, kind heart, and deep love for her family. Ronda was a devoted Christian, who found great joy in attending church and living her faith daily. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the way she brought people together. She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Watkins; her niece, Mae Johnson of the home; her daughter, Tonya and husband Bobby Burgess of Durant, Oklahoma, along with grandsons Haydn and Jacob Burgess; her granddaughter Hannah, husband Dominik, and great-granddaughter Jazmeryna Rose of Caddo, Oklahoma; her daughter Brandy and husband Dwight Gould of Caddo, Oklahoma, along with grandson Blake and granddaughter Savannah Gould; her son Shawn and wife Tiffany Watkins of Durant, Oklahoma, along with grandsons Chaos Shults, Havoc Watkins, and Eric Hamilton, and granddaughters Mystic and Emmi’Lu Watkins; her daughter Leann and Husband and Erice Wright, along with granddaughter Braelyn, her brother Bobby Lloyd Johnston; as well as many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Walker; her brothers Joe Walker, Ernie Johnston, Michael Johnston, and Kavin Ballard; her sisters Gayla Johnston and Sheila Johnston. Ronda’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 13th, at Brown's Funeral Home chapel in Durant. Interment services will follow at Bera Cemetery in Harmony with grandsons Chaos Shults, Eric Hamilton, Blake Gould, Haydn Burgess, Jacob Burgess and Dominik Rose serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Watkins, Dwight Gould, and Havoc Watkins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12th, from 3;00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Home in Durant.
