ALAN KEITH (Wah-Hoo) JONES September 28, 1954 – May 16, 2020 Alan Keith (Wah-Hoo) Jones was born in Durant, Oklahoma on September 28, 1954 to Junior Bee and Nira Mitchell Jones. He spent his formative years growing up as a cowboy and living on the farm on Philadelphia Road, where he attended Blue Grade School and held high honors as Valedictorian from the first grade through his eighth grade. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1972 and attended Rose State College. After school he joined local union 798. He served 40 years as a pipeline welder and fabricator building oil and gas pipelines and offshore drilling rigs across the U.S. and Canada. Keith was a Native American Indian and a Citizen of the Chickasaw Tribe and was a very proud father of eight children. Keith survived by his wife of 17 years, D’Andrea Jones of Harrah, OK. Mother, Nira Jones of Bixby, OK. Sisters: Rita Brantley of Bixby, OK, and Shirley Stone of Decatur, TX. Brothers: Jacky Jones and wife Emily of Choctaw, OK. and Jimmy Jones of Wellston, OK. Children: Keith Shawn Jones of Oklahoma City, OK Cory Jones and Eden Jones of Marshall, MN. Adrian Jones and wife Nicole of Gainesville, FL Cheyenne Jones of St. Petersburg, FL Colton Jones of Choctaw, OK (5) Stepchildren: Chris Mandelkow of Oklahoma City Jeffery Hames and wife Markylynn of Bonita Springs, FL Dustin Hames and wife Kacie of Oklahoma City, OK Brittnay Snyder and husband Brian of Harrah, OK Margy Casula and husband Justin of War Acres, OK (4) Grand Children: Alexia and Ava Jones, Tyler and Cheyanna Smith and (2) Great Grand children and several Nephews and Nieces and abundance of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Bee Jones, sister, Mary Jo Jones, Son, Dalton Jones, daughter, Chasity Smith, Grandparents, James E. and Bessie Cooper Jones, Elmer Shelton and Allie Pirtle Mitchell and Brother in Law, Monroe Brantley. His family and friends will remember Keith as a truly good man, there are few like him in the world, a man of compassion, integrity, courage and bravery, which spent much of his good life sharing his time, money and talent with all whom ever was in need that crossed his path in life. Family request donations made to Brown’s Funeral Home or the Oklahoma ALS Foundation in lieu of flowers.
