Jack Curtis Martin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jack Curtis Martin passed away at the age of 54 on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Sherman, Texas. He was born September 8, 1967 to James W. and Erma Miller(Martin) at Summersville, West Virginia. Jack was a iron worker in his younger days in West Virginia and then when moved to Durant Ok, he became a Fork lift driver for Big Lots Warehouse. Jack retired at the age of 48 from Big Lots. Jack loving spending time with his love Miranda. He also was a Super Natural show and movie fanatic! He loved spending time talking with his son and daughter-in-law about the old days and how they have grown into the great parents, but most of all more then anything he loved spending with his grandbabies. He is Survived by his loving girlfriend Miranda Farthing of the home in Durant, Ok, His one son, James Martin and wife Adalina Martin of Calera, Ok, his four grandchildren, Emery Martin, Kinsley Lemons, Johnathan Martin, Brantlee Martin, His three sister, Sherry Cunningham and husband Rick Cunningham of Broken Bow, Ok, Margaret Stricklen, Virginia Beach, VA, Joyce Jones, Baggs, WY; his three brothers, James Martin and wife Ginny, Fayetteville, WV, Charles Martin and wife Alice, Yorkstown, VA, and Calvin Martin and wife Joyce, Martinsburg, WV, his two sisters-in-law, Eunice Martin, Leesburg, VA, and Sarah Martin, Leesburg, VA. Also, one wonderful aunt, Katheryn Diehm and Uncle John Diehm. Also survived by multiple niece and nephews and more family members. Jack will be lied to rest at his final rest place with his mother and farther in West Virginia like he wanted to be. Jack is preceded in death by his parents James W. and Erma Miller(Martin) and 5 brothers: John Martin, Bob Martin, Owen Martin, Gerald Martin, And Kermit Martin, Nephew Josh Stricklen. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jack’s Life will be held Friday , June 17, 2022, at 2:30 PM, at the OSU Extension (Bryan County Fairgrounds), 1901 South 9th, Durant OK
