Mary Lou Owens, age 69, passed away on February 26, 2021. She was born in Denison Texas on December 8, 1951 to Kenneth and Nadine Holmes. She attended Denison High School, she moved to Bryan county in 1995. She worked as a dietician and she enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed making people laugh and working with young people. She is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth William Holmes and Nadine Holmes, Lewis Rodney Owens, and her grandson Devin Wayne Owens. Mary is survived by her son Ronnie Owens and wife Diana of Durant, daughter Rhonda Owens and husband Mike of Garland, TX, her sisters Donna Cordrey and husband Don of Round Rock, TX, Nancy Larkin of Sherman, LeeAnn Hotze or Durant, Opal Turner of Sherman, and Ruthie Rowley of Denison. Grandchildren Travis Shearer, Trae Shearer, Darci Layne Edwards. Great Grand Children Brenleigh Long, Cason Shearer, Emma Owens, Jax Owens, Ruby Edwards, Birdie Mae Edwards and many other beloved family members and Friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Durant Family visitation is Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Service in Durant.
