Shannon Amber Long (Taylor) passed away on March 12, 2022. Shannon was born on September 27, 1976, in Sherman Texas to Winston and Jaine Taylor in Sherman, Texas. She attended Kingston High School and worked at CM Trailers. Shannon and her spouse John Jensen called Kingston their hometown. One of her favorite things was being a grandma and watching her grandkids. She attended the Church of Christ. Shannon also enjoyed boating, fishing, painting, jewelry making, cooking, crocheting, and going to the casino. Shannon is preceded in death by her grandparents “Polly” Pauline Keck, Ellen, Vera Taylor, and C.W. Taylor. Uncles Richard, Tommy Royce, Robert and Jerry, and aunts Vickie Barnes and Sue Lyles Left to cherish her memories are her husband John Jensen of the home. Her sons Michael Rhea and wife Cherie, William Long and wife Ashley, and Shane Long all of Kingston. Her parents Winston and Janie Taylor of Kingston. Her brother Darrin Taylor and wife Susan of Kingston. Has well as her three cherished grandbabies: Addi, Jordan, and Charlotte Rose. A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Willis Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service Madill.
