Bonnie Jean Cook

Bonnie Cook entered this life on November 13, 1935 born to Frank and Sally (Hyde) Workman and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 4, 2010 at the age 74 years, 10 months and 21 days. Bonnie married Walter Cook on May 24, 1952 in Sherman, Texas and to this union were born 6 children. Bonnie was a loving and dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Bonnie was a member of the Hopewell Freewill Baptist Church and she enjoyed church activities, gardening, flowers, but her greatest joy in life were her children and grandchildren. Bonnie will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew and dearly loved her. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Workman and Sally Rhines; husband, Walter Cook; 3 brothers, Jim, J.L. and Curt Workman and 2 sisters, Wanda Sue (Bill) Whitmire and Dora Mae Carpenter. Those loved ones left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Karen and Phil Daniel of Durant, Ok, Charles and Teri Cook of Davis, OK, Sharon Cook of Durant, OK, Donna Dowling of Denison, TX, Darrell and Karen Cook of Wapanucka, OK and Keith and Trish Cook of Mead, OK; grandchildren, Toni and Kyle McLemore, Tonya and Quentin Bucher, Trent and Jody Daniel, Russell and Ame Cook, Kaycie and Bill Brelo, Taylor Cook, Spencer Dowling, Kaitlyn Dowling, Laura Cook, Amber Cook, Lane Cook, Ashley Cook, Dillion Cook, Victoria Cook and Nikki Cook; great grandchildren, Bradi and Addie McLemore, Shaylin and Zane Nutter, Eva and Dovan Bucher, Cheyenne Daniel, Banyon and Bodhi Cook and Walt Cook; brothers, Paul and Phyllis Rhines of Voca, OK and Virgil Workman of Caney, OK; sister, Annie Pearl Lackey of Caney, OK and numerous other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends. Services to celebrate the life of Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Hopewell Freewill Baptist Church. Bro. Randy Tadlock and and Bro. Victor Cook will officiate. Interment will follow in Coleman Cemetery with Russell Cook, Trent Daniel, Spencer Dowling, Dillion Cook, Lane Cook, Kyle McLemore, Quentin Bucher and Bill Brelo serving as pallbearers.
