Goldie Campbell

Goldie Jewel Campbell entered this life on August 22, 1931 in Woodville, OK, born to Russell and Nancy (Burris) Neasbitt. Goldie went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 2, 2017 at Alliance Health Hospital in Durant at the age of 85 years. Goldie graduated from Cobb High School and later married the love of her life Leo Campbell on July 2 1949 in Sherman, Texas. Goldie and Leo would remain married for 67 years. She was a Homemaker and ensured everything at home was well taken care of. Goldie was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Caddo, Oklahoma. She had countless hobbies but loved the outdoors the most, some of Goldie’s hobbies were gardening, camping, fishing, playing dominoes and she really enjoyed being a member of the Chickasaw Nation. Goldie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Preceding her in death are her parents, Russell and Nancy (Burris) Neasbitt; her brothers and sisters, James, Aaron, Wilburn, Jessi, J.T, and Alene Perschica. Goldie is survived by her husband, Leo Campbell of Durant; son, Brian Campbell of McKinney, TX; nephews, Jerry Rowland and wife Brenda, of Caddo, OK, Kenneth Rowland and wife Judy, of Caddo, Ok, David Rowland and wife Wanda, of Caddo, OK, Michael Rowland and wife Marty, of Caddo, OK, Maxie Rowland of Caddo, OK, DeWayne Perschica of Oklahoma City, OK, Carl Perschica and wife Donna, of Kingston, OK, Ronnie Perschica of Kingston, OK, Sonny Perschica and wife Debbie of Kingston, OK, Jerry Perschica and wife Renee, of Oklahoma City, OK, Randy Neasbitt and wife Darla, of Ardmore, OK; nieces, Donna Jobe and husband Noble, of Eufaula, OK, Polly Oropeza and husband Richard, of Van Austin, TX, Theresa Gibson and husband Carter, of Norman, OK, Barbara Perschica of Kingston, Ok, Linda Perschica of Kingston, OK, Twila Neasbitt of Ardmore, OK, Gail Lewis of Borger, TX, Tammy Forster of Canyon, TX, and Nita Kay Neasbitt and numerous other friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, with Jimmy Pratt and Jimmy Stegall officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends immediately following the service, in the Brown’s Funeral Service Community room for lunch.
