James Lynn Robinson December 14, 1952 – January 14, 2024 James Lynn Robinson 72, of Cartwright, Oklahoma, passed suddenly from this Earth Thursday, 1/14/2024. James was a beloved husband, father, brother, papa and so much more. He was one of the most selfless humans and the patriarch of his family. He devoted his life to serving others and being an exceptionally faithful, passionate Christian. His time with others was spent sharing the Word of God and being a helping hand or listening ear to those who needed it. After retiring he spent his free time with the love of his life, his children, and doting on his grandchildren - all of which he was immensely proud of. He was a long time attendee at Victory Life Church and outside of being with family could be found reading, continuing his learnings of the Gospel, praying for anyone who may have needed it, or contributing to his family in any way possible. James never knew a stranger and was a truly one of a kind human. His absence will be abundantly missed by all he crossed paths with – especially his family. His time here on Earth seems cut short however he left an everlasting impact on many people and his legacy will live on in the stories and memories shared about his life. He was never one to want to be in the spotlight but was always there to make sure everyone else was taken care of. We are deeply saddened to not be able to hear his voice or his prayers or see him tinkering around the house. We find solace in knowing that he was the epitome of a good and faithful servant during his time on Earth and is now happy and whole with his best friend and Maker, Jesus Christ and no doubt was blessed with many crowns. Peace will be found in knowing our worst day was his best day and that we will one day be able to embrace him again when we make it to Heaven as well. James leaves behind his beloved wife, Karen Sue Robinson, His four children, Claudia Moss of Durant, Ok, Michael Ray Chapman of Cartwright, Ok, Alisia Robinson of Greenville, Tx, and Jerry “Charlie” Robinson of Cartwright, Ok. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Taylor Horton and husband Blake Horton, Briar James Moss, Michael Ray Chapman Jr., and Chevy Ray Chapman as well as his siblings Winifred Robinson, Henry Robinson and Myra Kirby and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other loving family members and friends. He will be greeted in Heaven by his parents, Doris and Charles Robinson. Sister-in- law Nancy Robinson, sister-in-law Shirley Robinson, Brother-in-law Rex Kirby and many other family members and friends that went before him.
