Kylie Alyse Rice

Kylie Alyse Rice was brought into this world on April 14, 1999, in Sherman, Texas. She came into this world with the great passion that she left with on January 21, 2025. Kylie was a resident of Calera, Oklahoma, where she stayed until the very end. Kylie was a devoted teacher to all of her students, whom she viewed as her own and would do anything for. Kylie was also a decorated softball player, great friend, an ear to anyone who needed to talk, and a very devoted, yet most times lacking, karaoke singer. Most of all, Kylie was a tremendous mother. After time and time of tribulations to be the mother that she always wanted to be, Kylie and her husband, Collin, welcomes Hayes Gregory Denison into this world on March 6, 2024. Kylie displayed the love and compassion to her baby that is indescribable. Kylie, although way too soon, found the loves of her life in Collin and Hayes, and she can rest easy knowing that she found her true happy place. All of Kylie’s friends and family can attest to the amount of fun she was at any gathering or just sitting at her house. She could make the best of anything and saw the best in anyone that she encountered. Her contagious smile and goofy laugh will be missed by everyone that knew her. Kylie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Vickie Rice of Denison, TX; great-grandmother Nellie Sue Brown of Platter, OK; grandfather Dennis Bausell of Savoy, TX; aunt Tina Rice; great-grandfather Harold “Jack” Killough of Denison, TX; and a number of other relatives that loved her as much as she loved them. Kylie is survived by her parents Shawnna and Stacy Rice of Calera, OK; husband Collin Denison of Calera, OK; son Hayes Denison of Calera, OK; brother Preston Rice and his wife Makenzie Rice of Durant, OK; grandmother and grandfather Patricia and Terry Garner of Colbert, OK; grandfather Paul “Tony” Rice of Denison, TX; grandmother Michelle Bausell; uncles Jason Bausell of Colbert, OK, Ben Bausell and his wife Natalie of Savoy, TX, and Jon Bausell of Savoy, TX; aunts Misty McMikel and Melissa Jones of Paris, TX, Misty Rice of Clayton, OK, Sarah Gail Frazier and husband Bradley of Denison, TX; and countless cousins, great-aunts and uncles, and numerous friends, all that she loved so very much. Services will be held at the Rock Creek gymnasium on January 31, 2025, at 11:00 am in which the family has requested that everyone wear casual attire in honor of Kylie’s laid-back nature and disdain for anyone to feel upset. Services will be held by Landon Jestis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Hayes Denison Fund at any First United Bank location.
